I want you to feel excited about your retreat experience and reassured that everything has been carefully considered.
The information below is designed to answer some of the practical questions that naturally arise when booking a retreat, helping you feel informed and confident before joining us.
If anything isn't clear, or if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I'd always much rather have a conversation and help where I can.
Retreat Information & Booking Terms
Securing Your Place
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place on the retreat.
Your booking will be confirmed once your deposit has been received.
The remaining balance must be paid by the date outlined in your booking confirmation. If the balance is not received by the due date, I reserve the right to offer the place to someone on the waiting list.
If Your Plans Change
The deposit paid to secure your place is non-refundable.
The remaining balance is due by 22 August 2026.
If you need to cancel before the balance due date, no further payment will be due, but your deposit will be retained.
Refunds cannot be guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
I strongly recommend arranging comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking.
If I Need to Cancel the Retreat
Whilst I sincerely hope this never happens, occasionally unforeseen circumstances mean that a retreat cannot go ahead.
In this situation, you will be offered either:
• A transfer of your payments to a future retreat, or
• A refund of monies paid directly to Bryony's Pilates.
Unfortunately, I cannot accept responsibility for any third-party costs, including flights, travel arrangements or travel insurance policies.
Travel Insurance
I strongly recommend arranging comprehensive travel insurance when you book your retreat. It helps protect you should unexpected circumstances arise and may cover cancellation costs depending on your policy.
Flights and Airport Transfers
Participants are responsible for arranging their own flights.
Transfers between Málaga Airport and the retreat venue are included within the retreat price at the designated transfer times.
Current transfer arrangements are:
• Arrival transfer: early afternoon from Málaga Airport to the retreat venue
• Departure transfer: approximately lunchtime from the retreat venue back to Málaga Airport
Recommended flight times will be provided in advance to help you plan your journey.
If your flights fall outside these transfer windows, alternative arrangements may need to be made at your own expense.
Looking After Yourself During Retreat
Your wellbeing is important to me.
Please let me know about any injuries, medical conditions, allergies or anything else that you feel would be helpful for me to know before we arrive.
I will always offer options and adaptations during movement sessions, and encourage you to listen to your body and make choices that feel right for you.
If you have any concerns about whether retreat activities are suitable for you, I recommend speaking with an appropriate healthcare professional before booking.
Participation
Everything offered during retreat is an invitation, not an obligation.
You are very welcome to take part in as much or as little as feels right for you.
This isn't bootcamp, and there is no expectation to attend every activity. Sometimes the most valuable thing you can do is rest by the pool with a book.
The retreat schedule may occasionally need to change due to weather conditions, group needs or unforeseen circumstances, but I will always endeavour to provide the very best experience possible.
Accommodation
Accommodation arrangements and room allocations will be confirmed before the retreat.
If sharing accommodation, I will always do my best to accommodate preferences wherever possible, although this cannot always be guaranteed.
Single occupancy options may be available at an additional cost, depending on the retreat venue.
Dietary Requirements
Please let me know about any dietary requirements when completing your booking forms.
I will always do my very best to accommodate individual needs and communicate them with the retreat venue in advance.
Excursions and Optional Activities
Some retreats may include optional excursions or activities.
Participation in these activities is entirely your choice.
Occasionally, excursions may need to be amended or cancelled due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions or operational issues.
Personal Belongings
Participants remain responsible for their own belongings throughout the retreat.
Bryony's Pilates cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal possessions.
Photography
From time to time, photographs and videos may be taken during retreat so that future guests can get a feel for what these experiences are like.
I completely understand that not everyone wishes to appear in photographs, so please let me know if you would prefer not to be included.
Your preferences will always be respected.
Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Very occasionally, circumstances arise that are outside anyone's control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather events, pandemics, government restrictions or industrial action.
Whilst I will always do everything I can to support participants in these situations, Bryony's Pilates cannot be held responsible for costs resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Questions?
If there's anything you're unsure about, please don't hesitate to ask.
I know that booking a retreat can feel like a big step, particularly if you're travelling alone or joining us for the first time.
I'd much rather answer your questions beforehand so that you can make the decision that's right for you.
Thank you for taking the time to read through this information.
I look forward to welcoming you.
