Meet Bryony; Your Pilates Teacher in Twickenham
A Teacher Who Sees the Whole You
Hi, I’m Bryony, a fully qualified Pilates teacher based in Twickenham, with over 20 years of experience helping people reconnect with their bodies, build strength, and find joy in movement.
I specialise in rehabilitative and mindful Pilates, blending classical and contemporary methods to support real people with real lives, whether you’re managing an injury, navigating menopause, recovering postnatally, or simply looking for space to breathe and move.
For me, Pilates isn’t about the perfect pose or ticking boxes. It’s about listening to your body, moving with intention, and discovering what strength and mobility mean for you.
I believe in:
Making movement accessible for every body
Creating inclusive, judgment-free spaces
Tailoring sessions to support your unique needs, energy, and goals
From small group classes in Twickenham to 1:1 home sessions and online Zoom options, I aim to make Pilates feel as supportive and personal as possible.
My Teaching Philosophy
My Background & Training
My journey began in the world of dance and theatre, where I first discovered the deep mind-body connection that Pilates encourages. Since then, I’ve trained extensively in:
Classical and Contemporary Pilates methods
Reformer and mat-based Pilates
Pre- and postnatal Pilates
Pilates for rehabilitation and injury recovery
Older adult and osteoporosis-informed movement
I also continue to study biomechanics, fascia release, and holistic movement approaches that inform how I teach today.
